For the Lower Mississippi River...including Tiptonville,
Caruthersville, Osceola, Memphis, Tunica Mhoon Landing, Helena...
Major flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* IMPACTS...At 47.0 feet, In Mississippi, almost all of Island
  Number 67 is covered by water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 46.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:00 PM CDT Saturday was 46.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 46.7
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage Friday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 44.0 feet.

  businesses south of West Memphis are being covered by water. At
  Memphis, the fuel facility south of the river gauge is flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 37.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:00 PM CDT Saturday was 37.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage early Friday
    morning.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Tunica Mhoon Landing.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday, April 29.

* IMPACTS...At 38.0 feet, Water is beginning to go over Loggerhead
  Lane going into Bordeaux Camp. Drum Cove is flooding, and Buffalo
  Drive is mostly covered. The south ends of Ricky Road and Brown
  Road are flooded, along with the street going out of Nel-Win Camp.
  Tammy Road and Lloyd Road are flooded. Bee Trail and Plum Road are
  going underwater. The east part of Sherry Lane is being flooded
  and Peters Island is almost completely inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 38.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:00 PM CDT Saturday was 38.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Monday, April 28.

* IMPACTS...At 39.0 feet, Floodwater has reached the foot of the
  floodwall protecting Caruthersville, Missouri. In Tennessee, the
  grain terminal south of the Interstate 155 bridge is flooding.
  Highway 88 is flooded at places in the north bottom of Lauderdale
  County. Roads to and from Chisholm Lake are flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 38.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:00 PM CDT Saturday was 39.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Friday evening.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Osceola.

* WHEN...Until Monday, April 28.

* IMPACTS...At 37.0 feet, In Tennessee, houses along the west part
  of Grammer Road are flooding and evacuation is cut off. The south
  end of Grainery Road is inundated. Homesteads along Highway 19
  West just east of T. Rossinger Road are going underwater. Shoaf
  Landing Road is flooding. Farmstead on Island 37 floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 36.7 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:00 PM CDT Saturday was 37.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Sunday, April 27.
