The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  A Levee Failure on the Obion River in...
  Central Obion County in Tennessee...

* Until 715 PM CST Monday.

* At 721 AM CST, Emergency manager reported that the water from the
  levee failure on the Obion River at Rives continues to rise and is
  causing flash flooding of surrounding areas downstream.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding from a levee failure.

  SOURCE...Emergency Manager

  IMPACT...Flooding of areas near and downstream of the levee
           break.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Union City, Obion, Rives, Moffatt, Gibbs, Mason Hall and Shaffner.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Mud Creek, Mill Creek, Little Richland Creek, Richland Creek,
  Hicks Branch, Davidson Creek, North Fork Obion River, Deer Creek,
  Harris Fork Creek, Dillard Creek, Troy Creek, Dry Creek and Cane
  Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you are in low lying areas along the you should move to higher
ground immediately.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
