The National Weather Service in Memphis has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Craighead County in eastern Arkansas...
  Greene County in eastern Arkansas...
  North Central Poinsett County in eastern Arkansas...
  Southwestern Dunklin County in southeastern Missouri...

* Until 400 PM CST.

* At 246 PM CST, the public reported thunderstorms producing heavy
  rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have
  fallen with additional rainfall expected. Flash flooding is
  ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Public reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Jonesboro, Paragould, Trumann, Bono, Lake City, Bay, Brookland,
  Marmaduke, Crowleys Ridge State Park, Lake Frierson State Park,
  Oak Grove Heights, Cardwell, Lafe, Cash, Egypt, Walcott, Beech
  Grove, Goobertown, Bethel and Farrville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
