...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM CDT THIS
AFTERNOON FOR SOUTHEASTERN CRITTENDEN, CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI, DESOTO,
NORTHWESTERN MARSHALL, NORTHWESTERN FAYETTE, NORTHWESTERN HAYWOOD,
LAUDERDALE, SHELBY AND TIPTON COUNTIES...

At 238 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

  Bartlett, Southaven, Collierville, Germantown, Olive Branch, West
  Memphis, Horn Lake, Hernando, Millington, Covington, Ripley,
  Cordova, Meeman Shelby Forest State Park, Fort Pillow State Park,
  T O Fuller State Park, Memphis, Lakeland, Arlington, Munford and
  Brighton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
