  North central Eddy County in southeastern New Mexico...

* Until 530 PM MDT.

* At 451 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles northeast
  of Brantley Lake State Park, or 16 miles southeast of Artesia,
  moving northwest at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Brantley Lake State Park, Atoka, Dayton, and Lakewood.
