...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN EDDY...SOUTHWESTERN
LEA...NORTHWESTERN REEVES AND NORTHEASTERN CULBERSON COUNTIES THROUGH
600 PM MDT...

At 454 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles south of Malaga, or 24 miles southeast of Carlsbad, moving east
at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Eddy,
southwestern Lea, northwestern Reeves and northeastern Culberson
Counties.
