...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MIDLAND AND SOUTH
CENTRAL MARTIN COUNTIES THROUGH 945 PM CDT...

At 913 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Midland, moving northwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Midland, Cotton Flat, Midland Airpark, and Skywest Airport.

This includes Interstate 20 between mile markers 132 and 145.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
