A survey was completed on June 3, 2025 investigating damage reported in the community of Pleasant Farms from a thunderstorm that moved through during the early morning hours. Additionally, the Pecos County Emergency Manager shared information on damage caused by a separate thunderstorm from the evening of June 2, 2025 in the city of Fort Stockton. .Pleasant Farms Microburst... Peak Wind /E/: 120 mph Path Length /statute/: 6 miles Path Width /maximum/: 4000 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 2 Start Date: 06/03/2025 Start Time: 02:06 AM CDT Start Location: 6 WNW Pleasant Farms / Ector County / TX Start Lat/Lon: 31.705 / -102.435 End Date: 06/03/2025 End Time: 02:12 AM CDT End Location: Pleasant Farms / Ector County / TX End Lat/Lon: 31,682 / -102.339 A thunderstorm impacted the Pleasant Farms community during the early morning hours of June 3, 2025. This thunderstorm produced a localized microburst that caused significant damage to nearby structures. Several single wide mobile and manufactured homes were severely damaged or destroyed with many snapped power poles due to wind speeds estimated to be as high as 120 MPH. Two minor injuries were reported in association with this microburst. .Fort Stockton Microburst... Peak Wind /E/: 110 mph Path Length /statute/: 2.5 miles Path Width /maximum/: 2500 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 06/02/2025 Start Time: 06:36 PM CDT Start Location: 1 W Fort Stockton / Pecos County/ TX Start Lat/Lon: 30.894 / -102.902 End Date: 06/02/2025 End Time: 06:44 PM CDT End Location: 1 SE Fort Stockton / Pecos County/ TX End Lat/Lon: 30.878_/_-102.868 A separate thunderstorm impacted the city of Fort Stockton during the evening hours of June 2, 2025. The Pecos County Emergency Manager aided with surveying this damage. A total of approximately 20 power poles were reported broken or leaning due to damaging winds causing the temporary loss of power to 2500 residents in the area. Approximately 50 homes had reported roof damage due to hail and damaging winds. The most significant damage involved a mobile home rolled onto its side and a wall blown partially inward due to wind speeds estimated to be as high as 110 MPH.
