Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
135 AM CDT Fri Oct 10 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns remain low. Min RH above critical levels,
good to excellent overnight recovery, ERCs below the 75th
percentile, and mostly light 20-ft winds will limit fire weather
conditions. Drier fuels, gusty winds, and above normal temperatures
this weekend may pose some risk, but cloudier and more humid
conditions may help mitigate concerns.
