Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
145 PM CDT Thu Jun 5 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns will remain low through next week, mainly
due to critical minimum relative humdity not being coincident with
increased 20-ft winds. There is a chance of thunderstorms most
days. Any thunderstorms that do develop may be accompanied by
gusty and erratic winds. Recovery overnight will be moderate to
excellent. Recovery Friday night will be poor in some parts of
the Sacramento Foothills, but moderate to excellent elsewhere.
Relative humidity will bottom out at 9-45% Friday afternoon, and
7-34% Saturday.
