.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns remain low tonight. However, a localized elevated
fire weather threat may develop Wednesday afternoon. Strong southwest
winds will overspread much of the region and combine with
critical (<15%) relative humidity for some locations south and west of
the Pecos River. Normal to above normal fuel moisture with ERCs near the
50th percentile should limit this threat. The rest of the week and
into the weekend sees better moisture and below normal temperatures
across the region, ending fire weather concerns.
