Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
1255 AM CDT Sat Aug 16 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns remain low. Plentiful moisture keeps
minimum relative humidity above critical levels. Overnight
recovery remains good to excellent. Winds are light outside of
gusty winds near any thunderstorms. Beneficial rainfall continues
to be in the forecast across portions of the area. All of this
helps keep fuel moisture above normal with low ERCs.
