Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
345 AM CDT Mon Jul 27 2026

.DISCUSSION...

Despite unseasonably warm temperatures this week, fire weather
concerns remain minimal, mainly due to low ERCs and low to
moderate Fire Danger. Fuels begin drying, however, especially
north of I-10. Relative humidity will bottom out at 13-31% this
afternoon, and 13-32% Tuesday. Recovery overnight will be
moderate to excellent.
