Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
202 PM CDT Fri Oct 17 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Overall, fire weather concerns are low through the period. Low-end
elevated conditions are anticipated Saturday and Monday due to min
RHs dropping below 15% and breezy winds. However, ERCs remain at
or below the 50th percentile, overnight recoveries will be fair to
good, and min RHs otherwise stay above critical thresholds, which
will help mitigate fire weather.

Service Office.
