Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
252 AM CST Fri Feb 21 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns remain low over the next couple days as
temperatures remain below normal with mainly light winds.
Critical minimum RH values return over much of the area late this
weekend and early next week. Overnight RH recovery will be good
across areas east of the Pecos River and poor to the west.
Temperatures still look to climb well above normal Sunday through
the early to middle part of next week, bringing about localized
elevated fire weather conditions. Winds generally remain light,
except breezy at times in the higher terrain areas.
