Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
245 PM CDT Fri Jun 6 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns will remain low through next week, mainly
due to tepid 20-ft winds. There is a chance of thunderstorms most
days. Any thunderstorms that do develop may be accompanied by
gusty and erratic winds. Recovery overnight and Saturday night
will be poor in the Guadalupe Mountains and Sacramento Foothills,
but moderate to excellent elsewhere. Relative humidity will
bottom out at 6-39% Saturday afternoon, and 6-31% Sunday.
