Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
231 AM CDT Tue Apr 22 2025

.DISCUSSION...

ERCs remain at/above the 50th percentile, but winds remain
relatively light through the period, which helps mitigate fire
weather concerns. Nevertheless, Elevated conditions can be expected
in southeast New Mexico and in the mountains, where low Min RHs
persist behind a dryline nearly everyday this week. In any case,
fire weather concerns are low through the period, especially for the
Central/Eastern Permian Basin and Lower Trans-Pecos.

Matrix product issued by the Midland/Odessa National Weather
Service Office.
