Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
159 PM CDT Thu Sep 4 2025

.DISCUSSION...

The forecast remains relatively unchanged. Fire weather concerns
remain minimal into next week, aside from gusty and erratic winds
that may accompany any thunderstorms that develop. Relative humidity
and 20-ft winds will generally remain out of critical territory, and
ERCs will be on the low side. Recovery overnight will be moderate to
excellent.
