539 FNUS54 KMAF 211743 FWFMAF Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX 1243 PM CDT Thu Aug 21 2025 .DISCUSSION... The forecast remains unchanged. Min RH above critical 15%, good to excellent overnight recovery, and fuel ERCs below 75th percentile with continued vegetation greenery all maintain low fire weather. There is still a low probability of fire starts from lightning and gusty, erratic winds in any storms, but high fuel moisture and greenery will limit ignition, intensity, and spread of any flames. && For point-specific forecasts please see the Point Fire Weather Matrix product issued by the Midland/Odessa National Weather Service Office.
