Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
209 AM CST Mon Nov 25 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns remain low Today and Tuesday. ERCs near the
50th percentile and light winds limit concerns despite occasional
minimum relative humidity near critical 15%. Localized elevated
fire weather may develop west of the Pecos as strong southwest
winds combine with near critical relative humidity on Wednesday.
This threat is short-lived as a cold front brings below normal
temperatures and better moisture into the region through the
remainder of the week and into the weekend.
