Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
126 PM CDT Wed Jul 23 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns are low through the period as ERCs remain
below the 50th percentile, Min RHs remain above critical thresholds,
winds stay light, and overnight recoveries continue to be good to
excellent. Storm chances stay low after today, with the best chances
(10-30%) in the Davis Mountains. Gusty and erratic winds may
accompany any storms that do develop.
