Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
136 PM CDT Thu Jul 23 2026

.DISCUSSION...

The forecast remains relatively unchanged. Fire weather concerns
remain low over the next several days. Despite warmer and drier
conditions through the middle of next week, recent wetting rains and
light winds keep fire weather conditions low. Min RHs generally stay
above critical thresholds, with good recoveries overnight. However,
given several days of triple digit heat in the forecast, fuels shall
continue to cure.

Service Office.
