FIRE DANGER STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LITTLE ROCK AR
257 AM CDT Tue Mar 11 2025

...ELEVATED WILDFIRE DANGER THIS AFTERNOON...

There will be an elevated wildfire danger this afternoon,
especially in northern and western Arkansas including the Ozark
and Ouachita Mountains.

Across the north and west, relative humidity values will drop
below 25 percent at many locations. Southwest winds at 10 to 20
mph are expected, with gusts over 25 mph at times. This
combination of dry air and gusty winds will make it easier for
fires to start and spread.

If a wildfire is observed, report it by dialing 911, or contact
the Department of Agriculture Forestry Division at (800) 468-8834.
