After analysis of satellite imagery and additional ground reports, have connected the previous EF4 "Fifty-Six" and EF3 "Sharp/Randolph" County tracks as a single track, for a total track length of 93.6 miles within Arkansas. Additionally added a small track section into Ouachita County from a tornado that started in Nevada County. Utilized imagery and derived products made available through the NASA Commercial Satellite Data Acquisition (CSDA) Program, NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, and the NASA Disasters Program. It then tracked northeast along Highway 101 where it uprooted and snapped numerous trees. This continued as it tracked just west of County Road 43 where it crossed into Ozark County, MO and the NWS Springfield county warning area. This part of the tornado has been rated an EF1 with winds of 100 mph, but the overall rating of the tornado is EF3 based on damage that occurred in Missouri along the track of this tornado. .Stone to Randolph County Tornado... Rating: EF4 Estimated Peak Wind: 170 mph Path Length /statute/: 93.57 miles Path Width /maximum/: 1400 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 4 Start Date: 03/14/2025 Start Time: 09:11 PM CDT Start Location: 7 SW Fifty-Six / Stone County / AR Start Lat/Lon: 35.8935 / -92.3423 End Date: 03/14/2025 End Time: 10:56 PM CDT End Location: 5 N Maynard / Randolph County / AR End Lat/Lon: 36.4984 / -90.8799 Survey Summary: Based on both ground survey results, and supplemental satellite data, this tornado started just east of Alco in Stone County. The tornado moved northeast, causing mainly tree damage over rural areas, eventually approaching the town of Fifty-Six, and crossing Hwy 14. The worst damage in Fifty-Six included a cabin park, where most cabins were either destroyed or shifted off of their foundations. The tornado then entered the Blanchard Springs recreation area, causing extensive tree blowdowns along its path as it moved towards Arkansas Hwy 5. A Remote Automatic Weather Station (RAWS) in this area measured a wind gust of 151 mph (instrument and observation verified by USFS), which is consistent with the rating of damage just upstream of the RAWS observation site as the tornado passed overhead. As the tornado passed over Hwy 5, most trees were blown down along the hillside along the highway, with the tornado continuing northeast crossing the White River south of Boswell. As the tornado crossed into Izard County, it moved through the community of Jumbo, uprooting or snapping trees and power poles, and causing more structural damage. The tornado continued to move northeast through mostly rural areas, causing large tree blowdowns, before passing just to the north of Melbourne, and continuing into the rural communities of Larkin and Franklin. The most severe damage was observed over this portion of the damage path, with three houses suffering catastrophic damage, consistent with an EF-4 rating. Two significant injuries also occurred in one of these houses. The tornado kept moving northeast into a very remote part of eastern Izard County, eventually crossing into Sharp County.Shortly after moving into Sharpy County, the tornado crossed US Hwy 167 south of Ash Flat where a few more homes and metal outbuildings were badly damaged along with numerous trees. The tornado kept moving northeast into central Sharp County, causing significant tree damage in the northern portion of the Harold Alexander WMA. The tornado then crossed US Hwy 62 just south of Ozark Acres destroying some outbuildings and pushing a house off its foundation as it crossed the highway. As the tornado moved northeast, it crossed Martin Creek Road between Harness Road and Lowder Mountain Road, causing damage to trees and outbuildings, and crossing into Randolph County just southwest of Ravenden Springs.The tornado continued northeast through portions of Ravenden Springs, uprooting or snapping trees on the south side of town. East of Ravenden Springs, more trees were damaged, with some damage to a couple homes along Hwy 90. The tornado then crossed the Eleven Point River south of the Dalton Community, then damaging several structures just west of Hamil where many outbuildings and a home were destroyed. This is where the worst damage occurred along this track. The tornado continued northeast passing between Warm Springs and Palestine, damaging or destroying more outbuildings and a mobile home, along with many trees uprooted or snapped. The tornado continued northeast along Warm Springs Road near the community of Brakebill, with mainly tree damage noted. This tornado then continued northeast crossing the Missouri-Arkansas state line around Minorca and Malone Roads, crossing into the NWS Paducah county warning area southeast of Poynor, Missouri. This tornado has been rated an EF-4 with maximum estimated wind speeds of 170 mph. .Independence to Randolph County Tornado... Rating: EF3 Estimated Peak Wind: 165 mph Path Length /statute/: 69.18 miles Path Width /maximum/: 700 yards Fatalities: 3 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 03/14/2025 Start Time: 10:16 PM CDT Start Location: 2 S Cushman / Independence County / AR Start Lat/Lon: 35.8395 / -91.783 End Date: 03/14/2025 End Time: 11:38 PM CDT End Location: Reyno / Randolph County / AR End Lat/Lon: 36.3618 / -90.7498 Survey Summary: The tornado began just east of the White River near Oneal Road uprooting and snapping numerous trees. The tornado then continued north of Bethesda crossing over farm land and snapping and uprooting trees. It then moved along Claxton Loop causing damage to a couple of houses and a barn. A double wide mobile home just north of Claxton Loop was completely destroyed. As the tornado tracked northeast towards Cave City, it mostly snapped and uprooted trees in mostly forested areas. The tornado continued to Cave City where the most significant damage was observed, consistent with an EF3 rating. Damage to multiple homes and buildings was observed within the city. It then continued towards North Gravel Pit Road uprooting and snapping trees. As the tornado moved towards the northeast it rolled a single wide mobile home south of West Prosperity Road. It traveled along East Prosperity Road snapping and uprooting more trees, continuing northeast into Lawrence county. More damage was observed in Smithville near Randolph county road 273 including damage to a couple of barns and uprooting several trees. The tornado then tracked towards Black Rock uprooting and snapping trees. The tornado crossed over the Black River continuing to damage mainly trees, and paralleled the river for a few miles, heading towards Shannon, where a couple of buildings sustained roof damage. The tornado continued northeast, again moving towards the Black river, and crossing it multiple times as it continued to cause damage to trees. The tornado then moved parallel to Highway 67 where power transmission lines were downed in addition to more damage to trees and houses. The tornado then moved into Clay county, crossing into the NWS Memphis county warning area. This tornado has been rated an EF3 with maximum estimated winds of 165 mph. .Joan Tornado... The tornado began south of Arkadelphia near Copeland Ridge Road and proceeded to move northeast across the northern portion of the community of Joan, briefly crossing over far northwestern Dallas County, and continuing on into southeast Hot Spring County. The tornado heavily damaged a newly built shop in the southern parts of the Harrison community where the peak intensity of the tornado was observed. The tornado continued northeast, curving up towards the community of Landers before dissipating east of Landers Rd before highway 9. .Bethesda Tornado... The tornado then crossed Hughey Lane and Debbie Lane continuing off towards the northeast, passing mostly farmland and fields. The tornado lifted just to the east of Medlock Road. This tornado has been rated an EF1 with maximum estimated winds of 90 mph. .White Oak Lake Tornado ... Rating: EF2 Estimated Peak Wind: 115 mph Path Length /statute/: 1.15 miles Path Width /maximum/: 380 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 03/14/2025 Start Time: 11:10 PM CDT Start Location: 2 SE Bluff City / Ouachita County / AR Start Lat/Lon: 33.6872 / -93.1076 End Date: 03/14/2025 End Time: 11:11 PM CDT End Location: 3 SE Bluff City / Ouachita County / AR End Lat/Lon: 33.689 / -93.0878 Survey Summary: This tornado began crossed into Ouachita County from Nevada County near White Oak State Park. Planet satellite NDVI difference analysis imagery indicated the tornado continued over a wooded area damaging primarily trees before lifting along the western shore of White Oak Lake. This tornado has been rated an EF2, with maximum estimated wind speeds of 115 mph. .Diaz Tornado... Rating: EF4 Estimated Peak Wind: 190 mph Path Length /statute/: 18.62 miles Path Width /maximum/: 1760 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 2 Start Date: 03/14/2025 Start Time: 11:13 PM CDT Start Location: 4 SSE Oil Trough / Independence County / AR Start Lat/Lon: 35.5705 / -91.4227 End Date: 03/14/2025 End Time: 11:36 PM CDT End Location: 3 ESE Tuckerman / Jackson County / AR End Lat/Lon: 35.7122 / -91.1433 Survey Summary: This violent tornado moved northeast across southeastern Independence county and into central Jackson county with a track length of 18.6 miles, and reaching an estimated max width of 1760 yards, or 1 mile. The tornado started near the small community of Departee, causing damage to mostly trees, and a few metal out buildings and wooden power lines. The tornado quickly intensified as it moved into Jackson county, causing EF3 damage to several buildings in a neighborhood east of Macks. EF4 damage was also observed on a well-built structure in this area. The tornado continued to move northeast, crossing the White river, moving between Fitzgerald and Diaz. Significant EF3 to EF4 damage was observed in another neighborhood between these communities, and numerous cars, including a large dump truck, were tossed and thrown several hundred yards. The tornado continued to move northeast, causing more damage in Campbell Station, crossing highway 367, then dissipated near Jackson county road 38 south of Arkansas Hwy 37. This tornado produced maximum estimated wind speeds of 190 mph, consistent with an EF4 rating. .Jefferson County Tornado... The tornado likely dissipated just after crossing North Pack Road. This tornado was rated an EF-1, with maximum estimated windspeeds of 100 mph. .Fitzhugh Tornado... The tornado continued moving northeast, and just south of the community of Fitzhugh, damaging wooden power lines.
