A NWS storm survey team has found EF2 tornado damage to the
southeast of Pocahontas proper (specifically between the vicinity
of Pocahontas Municipal Airport eastward toward the community of
Skaggs) in Randolph County, produced from a tornado that occurred
on the evening of April 2, 2025. The storm survey is in progress
and this is a preliminary update.
