...DISCONTINUATION OF THE HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK TEXT PRODUCT...


Effective Monday, July 13, 2025, the Weather Forecast Office in
North Little Rock will cease issuance of the Hazardous Weather
Outlook (HWO) text product. This modification is being implemented
to mitigate legacy National Weather Service product duplication
and reduce production time amidst staffing constraints.


Public information on current weather hazards can still be found
on our webpage www.weather.gov/lzk or through our social media
accounts on Facebook and Twitter. Users may also utilize the
experimental Graphical Hazardous Weather Outlook tool at
https://www.weather.gov/erh/ghwo?wfo=lzk for a more detailed look
at local weather hazards.
