Rating: TSTM/Wind Estimated Peak Wind: 80 mph Path Length /statute/: 4.5 miles Path Width /maximum/: 800 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/30/2025 Start Time: 05:46 PM CDT Start Location: North Little Rock / Pulaski County / AR Start Lat/Lon: 34.7916 / -92.2624 End Date: 04/30/2025 End Time: 05:54 PM CDT End Location: 1 SE Sherwood / Pulaski County / AR End Lat/Lon: 34.8238 / -92.1945 Survey Summary: Thunderstorm wind damage was observed first near North Cypress Street and continued towards the northeast towards McCain Blvd before crossing N Hills Blvd. This wind damage continued into the Creekwood community and passed over Wildwood Avenue and Country Club Road. Tree damage was also found over Coolhurst Avenue and eventually came to an end near Cornerstone Bible Fellowship Church. Uprooted trees and snapped branches were the only damage seen. A couple of homes within these North Little Rock and Sherwood communities did see damage but only due to tree branches or trees falling on them. Given damage observed during the survey, it appears thunderstorm winds were likely enhanced by a meso-vortex. && EF Scale: The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into the following categories: EF0.....65 to 85 mph EF1.....86 to 110 mph EF2.....111 to 135 mph EF3.....136 to 165 mph EF4.....166 to 200 mph EF5.....>200 mph NOTE: The information in this statement is preliminary and subject to change pending final review of the event and publication in NWS Storm Data. $$
