This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Above normal temperatures, low relative humidity levels, and a
breezy southwest wind will combine to elevate the wildfire danger
this afternoon, especially in northern and western Arkansas. This
includes areas located in the the Ozark and Ouachita Mountains.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Moisture will increase on Wednesday, with scattered showers and
thunderstorms expected late in the day and Wednesday night. The
atmosphere may destabilize enough to support isolated severe storms
in western sections of the state for a few hours during the evening.
The main concerns will be large hail and damaging wind gusts.

Another round of thunderstorms is in the forecast Friday and Friday
night. Strong to severe storms appear likely from the mid-Mississippi
Valley to the central Gulf Coast including central and eastern Arkansas.
In fact, some data is suggesting there will be an outbreak of severe
storms including tornadoes. We will continue to monitor the situation
closely.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will not be needed today/tonight.
