A few thunderstorms could become strong to severe...mainly across far northwest portions of the area. The primary hazards will be damaging winds and large hail...with a brief tornado also possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Chances for thunderstorms and possible severe weather will continue into Saturday as well...with the potential remaining over the northwest portion of the area. The threat for thunderstorms and severe weather will then move further east across the area for Sunday as the storm system moves through the region. All hazards will be possible Saturday and Sunday...including damaging winds...large hail...and even a couple tornadoes. Heavy rainfall will also be possible as several rounds of showers and thunderstorms will be seen through Sunday. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are expected over the northwest third of the area...with locally higher amounts over 4 inches possible. This rainfall could result in an increased flash and river flood threat. Much less rainfall is expected across central to southeast sections of Arkansas. .Spotter Information Statement...
