An Enhanced Risk (level 3 out of 5) occupies a large portion of the state. All hazards will be possible from large hail (in excess of baseball- sized), damaging wind gusts (60+ mph), and a few tornadoes (a couple of which may be strong). Additionally, heavy rain will continue to fall across the state in the same locations where 1 to 3+ inches of rainfall fell during the day on Wednesday. Expect locations to experience flash flooding as well as the potential for likely river flooding as river basins continue to see more rainfall. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday A moderate risk (level 4 out of 5) for severe weather will be present on Friday for much of the forecast area. An Enhanced Risk (level 3 out of 5) for severe weather will be present on Saturday. All severe weather hazards will be possible. Additionally, rainfall totals across the state will continue to increase and the risk for flash flooding and river flooding will continue to increase statewide as the stalled boundary will remain parked across Arkansas with several rounds of heavy rainfall likely. Heed all blocked roads (by finding an alternate route) due to high water and never attempt to drive through high water as the power of water can easily sweep away a vehicle or hide a compromised or missing roadway surface underneath the high water. The latest river forecast will need to be monitor closely and vigilantly to rapidly changing conditions given the overall steady increase in rainfall totals across the state. .Spotter Information Statement...
