This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Moisture will increase today, with scattered showers and
thunderstorms expected late this afternoon and into tonight. Given
well above average temperatures, the atmosphere will likely
destabilize enough to support isolated severe storms in western
Arkansas for a few hours during the evening. The main concerns will
be very large hail and damaging wind gusts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Another round of thunderstorms is in the forecast Friday and Friday
night. Strong to severe storms appear likely from the mid-Mississippi
Valley to the central Gulf Coast including central and eastern Arkansas.
In fact, some data is suggesting there will be an outbreak of severe
storms including tornadoes. We will continue to monitor the situation
closely.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation may be needed in western Arkansas this evening.
