This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Hot and humid conditions will persist again today. Heat index
values will increase to over 100 for most areas...likely over 105
degrees for much of the eastern half of the forecast area.

Some isolated afternoon thunderstorms will be possible this
afternoon, though the threat for severe weather will remain low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Hot and humid conditions will persist through the weekend. By
Sunday night, a cold front will move into the central Plains
on Monday bringing chances for showers and thunderstorms over the
northern half of the state on Sunday night into Monday. Guidance
varies on how far south the front moves south into the state on
Tuesday and Wednesday. Additional chances for showers and
thunderstorms are in the forecast with the best chances at this
time over the northern half of the state. The threat for any
organized severe weather remains low during the entire period.
