Temperatures will be near freezing and widespread impacts are not expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday A few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible on Saturday, mainly across southeastern Arkansas. In addition to severe storms, heavy rain will be possible across the southeast half of the state which may lead to localized flash flooding and may contribute to continued or new river flooding. A much colder air-mass will move into the state on Saturday night in the wake of this strong storm system and may lead to a brief post- frontal period of light snow and light freezing rain across parts of northern, central, northeastern, and east-central Arkansas. Significant accumulations are not expected. On Tuesday, signals do continue to show the potential for rain to transition into snow across northern Arkansas and move into central Arkansas by Tuesday evening. However, confidence is low this far in advance pertaining to specific accumulations, placement, and exact timing. Ensemble members from guidance across the board continue to show many different solutions regarding this potential event. Details should become better refined in the coming days. .Spotter Information Statement... Spotter activation will not be needed. && Visit NWS Little Rock on the web.
