This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A few strong to severe thunderstorms may develop this evening,
especially across central and southern Arkansas. A greater chance
for severe weather will exist tonight into the early morning hours
(before sunrise) on Sunday. The main hazards with any storm that
does become severe will be damaging wind gusts (in excess of 60
mph), isolated instances of large hail (quarter-sized), and a
tornado or two cannot be ruled out with this setup (likely short-lived
and non-violent).

A second concern will be isolated flash flooding and new or
prolonged river flooding as the stronger cells within this complex
of thunderstorm activity will be extremely efficient at producing
decent amounts of rainfall in a short period of time.

It`s important no matter your circumstance to have multiple ways
to receive the latest warnings and that those ways will be able to
wake you from a sleep as this activity will be taking place
overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A few strong to severe thunderstorms may develop late Sunday
evening, across a large portion of Arkansas. A greater chance for
severe weather will exist Sunday night into the early morning
hours (before sunrise) on Monday. The main hazards with any storm
that does become severe will be damaging wind gusts (in excess of
60 mph), isolated instances of large hail (quarter-sized), and a
tornado or two cannot be ruled out with this setup (likely short-lived
and non-violent).

A second concern will be isolated flash flooding and new or
prolonged river flooding as the stronger cells within this complex
of thunderstorm activity will be extremely efficient at producing
decent amounts of rainfall in a short period of time.

It`s important no matter your circumstance to have multiple ways
to receive the latest warnings and that those ways will be able to
wake you from a sleep as this activity will be taking place
overnight.

The unsettled pattern will continue into the upcoming workweek,
with possible severe weather in the forecast on Monday across the
southeastern half of the state.

The remainder of the workweek through Friday will be watched
closely as the unsettled trend will continue; however, the
confidence for severe weather is low beyond Monday.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
