The threat for severe weather will remain low overall. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday An active pattern will develop by the middle of this week with chances for showers and thunderstorms returning to the forecast through the weekend. Several rounds of rainfall may develop as a result, with some areas of heavy rainfall becoming possible for western and northern portions of the state by later this week. Flash flooding and river flooding will become a concern with several days of rainfall forecast. Additionally, a few strong to severe thunderstorms may be seen with this activity, but the threat for organized severe weather looks uncertain at this time. The SPC (Storm Prediction Center) has outlined a 15% chance or equivalent of Slight Risk (level 2 out of 5) contour for days Friday and Saturday across a large portion of the CWA. The timing, location, and hazards associated with these storms will become ironed out in future forecast packages and hazardous weather outlook products. At the current time, confidence remains too low to dive into specifics, but the threat for severe weather will exist. .Spotter Information Statement...
