Fire Weather Planning Forecast For A Large Part Of Arkansas
National Weather Service LITTLE ROCK AR
138 PM CDT Fri Oct 17 2025

...Fire Weather Headlines...
None.

.Discussion...
Increasing moisture levels prior to and due to widespread shower
and thunderstorm activity primarily tomorrow across the state
will suppress any fire concerns. Gusty and erratic winds should
be anticipated tomorrow with moist southerly flow prior to the
frontal passage and veering winds out of the northwesterly
direction. Much drier conditions with elevated afternoon winds
early next week will increase the fire weather risk, although not
to a significant level.
