.Discussion...
Below normal temperatures will continue through the rest of
today, then warm to a few degrees above normal through Friday. A
strong cold front will usher much colder temperatures into the
state this weekend. Winds will veer to the south later this
afternoon but remain light with light and variable winds expected
overnight across the state. Light south to southwest winds are in
the forecast on Tuesday with a few gusts of 15 to 20 mph in the
afternoon. Min RH values will remain well below critical
thresholds through the forecast period. Vent rates will remain
poor through Tuesday morning, then become fair to good tomorrow
afternoon before becoming poor through the rest of the period due
to poor mixing heights and light winds. No precipitation is in the
forecast through this weekend. No fire weather concerns are
anticipated for the next 7 days across the state.
