Fire Weather Planning Forecast For A Large Part of Arkansas
National Weather Service Little Rock AR
1236 PM CDT Sat Aug 9 2025

.Discussion...

Hot and humid conditions will prevail through the weekend with
little if any chance of rain. There will be a change in the
overall pattern starting early next week which will allow for at
least afternoon showers and thunderstorm. Some areras will see
locally heavy downpours but widespread wetting rain does not
appear likely. There are no fire concerns for the next seven days.
