...Forecast flooding changed from Moderate to Major severity for the
following rivers in Arkansas...

  Saline River Near Rye affecting Bradley, Cleveland, Drew and
  Ashley Counties.

For the Saline River...including Rye...Major flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

River forecasts are based on current conditions and rainfall
forecasted to occur over the next 24 hours. During periods of
flooding...Evening forecasts are reissued with updated rainfall
forecasts.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is
  forecast. This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE...Saline River near Rye.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, A few houses and numerous cabins along the
  river in Ashley, Bradley, and Drew counties may be inundated or
  isolated. In December 2009 the river crested at 30 ft.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:15 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 29.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 30.5
    feet Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
