Patchy light wintry precipitation may persist through this morning, likely in the form of freezing drizzle or even some light flurries. Temperatures should gradually rise above freezing throughout the morning from east to west. Slick spots will be possible, especially on elevated and untreated surfaces. Motorists and those venturing outside today should be cautious for any slick spots that they encounter. If traveling, especialliy given the snowfall overnight as well. Give yourself extra time to reach your destination, and allow extra stopping space between you and the car in front of you. $$ CJL
