Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC
1150 AM EDT Sat Sep 12 2026

Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

A stalled frontal zone near the Virginia-North Carolina border
will return northward as a warm front through tonight. This
system will bring further shower and thunderstorm chances along
with increased humidity. Some of this rainfall could become
locally heavy in nature. A strong cold front then crosses through
Monday morning which will yield drier conditions and decreasing
humidity levels. A gradual warm up ensues during the middle to
latter portions of next week.
