Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC
201 AM EDT Sun Jul 19 2026

Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

A cold front will slowly sink southward through the area today,
perhaps sparking a few showers and thunderstorms in central
Virginia. The front will stall over North Carolina tonight and
Monday, as high pressure crossing the northern Mid Atlantic
supplies cooler air. By Monday night, the front will start
returning northward across the area. The next cold front will
then bring showers and thunderstorms Tuesday into Wednesday.
