Modified Arctic high pressure will remain in the vicinity of the Mid-Atlantic today before moving offshore on Monday. A gradual warming trend ensues through at least the first half of the week. This will bring temperatures back to above average. A moisture starved cold front tracks through on Tuesday bringing some light precipitation to areas closer to the Maryland- Pennsylvania border. A potentially wetter system may impact the area later in the week. Temperatures return closer to normal by Friday into next weekend. $$
