Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC
104 AM EDT Wed Jun 4 2025

Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

High pressure will continue to push off the east coast today,
leading to a warmer temperatures and increasing humidity in the
coming days. It will also allow an area of low pressure to move
across the Carolinas Thursday and off the Mid Atlantic coast
Friday. While most of the rain should stay to the south, there
will be increased cloud cover. Meanwhile, a low pressure system
will approach the region from the northwest Friday and Saturday,
which will bring the next chance for showers and thunderstorms
along the associated cold front. This front may stall near the
area into early next week.
