Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC
135 AM EDT Wed Aug 12 2026

Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

High pressure will remain across the southeastern states and
adjacent Atlantic Ocean much of this week while a cold front
gradually approaches from the north. This pattern will result in
daily shower and thunderstorm chances through Friday. Warm and
humid conditions will continue through Thursday before
temperatures and humidity decline as the front pushes south
Friday into Saturday. More showers and thunderstorms Sunday into
early next week as the front lifts back into the region.
