Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

Low pressure will continue to drift off the Virginia and North
Carolina coast through Friday with strengthening high pressure
building north of the region. A weak backdoor front may impact
the area Saturday into Sunday bringing an additional round of
showers and thunderstorms. A strong front and area of low pressure
over the Great Lakes and Upper Midwest look to push across the
Mid-Atlantic by the early and middle part of next week. Temperatures
will remain at or slightly above normal through Sunday.
