show areas of dense fog. Visibility may be reduced to less than a
quarter mile, especially along the ridge tops. This fog may
persist through the remainder of the night.

If traveling, be prepared for sudden drops in visibility,
especially when climbing in elevation. Slow down, increase
following distance, and use low beam headlights when encountering
dense fog.
