This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible Sunday afternoon and
evening, with the greatest risk near and south of Interstate 66/US
Route 50. The primary threat is damaging wind gusts, but large
hail and a tornado or two are also possible. In addition, locally
heavy rainfall may lead to flash flooding of small streams and
urban/poor drainage areas, with the greatest risk south of
Baltimore.

Virginia, northern and central Virginia, and central and western
Maryland.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible Sunday afternoon and
evening, with the greatest risk near and south of Interstate 66
and east of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The primary threat is
damaging wind gusts, but large hail and a tornado or two are also
possible.

In addition, multiple rounds of locally heavy showers and
thunderstorms Sunday may lead to flash flooding of small streams
and urban/poor drainage areas. A locally greater risk of flooding
may evolve across the Potomac and Allegheny Highlands and
northern Shenandoah Valley.

Multiple rounds of locally heavy showers and thunderstorms on
Sunday may lead to scattered instances of flash flooding of small
streams and urban/poor drainage areas. In addition, an isolated
severe thunderstorm with damaging wind gusts is possible.
