.DISCUSSION...

No hazardous weather is expected over the spill location today.
High temperatures will push toward 90 degrees with south winds
remaining less than 10kts. An occasional gusts up to 15 kts is
possible later this afternoon and evening as high pressure continues
offshore and low pressure approaches from the south. High clouds will
continue to increase throughout the day leading to filtered sunshine.

Mid and high level cloud cover will continue to thicken tonight as
low pressure works north from the Carolinas toward the Delmarva coast.
A spotty shower cannot be ruled out, but conditions look to remain dry
with precipitation chances less than 15 percent. Winds will remain out
of the south at less than 10 kts before becoming light and variable early
Friday morning. Lows tonight will fall back around 70 degrees.

Shower and thunderstorm chances will begin to increase Friday as low
pressure works up the Delmarva coast and a cold front approaches from the
Ohio River Valley. Once again storm chances will be capped at 30 percent with
a focus west of the Baltimore metro area. Any storms that do push east would
not arrive until the late afternoon and early evening hours. High temperatures
Friday will push back toward 90 degrees with heat index values remaining the same.
Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies once again as we remain sandwiched between
the front to the west and low pressure off the coast.

More widespread wetting rains are expected overnight Friday into
Saturday as the front passes through the region. Rainfall amounts
through Sunday look to range between a half to one inch. Locally
higher totals are possible under thunderstorms. Waves will remain less than
1 foot through the period.
