.DISCUSSION...

Best chance of thunderstorms today Fri will be between 3 PM and
8 PM. Multiple rounds of thunderstorms are possible.
Better chances of afternoon thunderstorms are expected Saturday
and Sunday, particularly Sunday.

Summertime heat and humidity return into next week as high
pressure pushes east into the Atlantic. A weak front will sag
south into the area Saturday, bringing renewed chances for showers
and thunderstorms. A slight reprieve to temperatures along with
increased thunderstorm chances are forecast over the weekend as
the front stalls nearby. A stronger cold front will cross the area
mid to late next week, but not before another surge of heat
occurs.
